He has all the skills need to be a proper quick bowler. Recently he has been featured in the Dhaka Premier League where has performed reasonably well to claim 16 wickets in 10 outings with an average of 18.06. So far he looked very sharp as a bowler in the mandatory power play as well in the death overs. He can a perfect fuel for the team Bangladesh along with Mustafizur Rahaman. In addition, he looked very aggressive in his nature which very much necessary for the pace bowlers. So far he has performed very well in the BPL and National league as well.
Bangladesh has won the u19 world cup under the captaincy of Akbar Hussain. Although so far he has not been able to transform his performance into the highest level. However, considering his leadership skill alongside batting and keeping, he can be a future asset for this rising cricketing nation. Right now this important role of wicketkeeping is playing by veterans like Musfiqur Rahim.
