Bangladesh vs New Zealand Series 2021: Squad and Where to Watch

Bangladesh will start the series on the back of a 3-0 clean sweep against the West Indies on their home soil. In the absence of Shakib Al Hasan, it is a great opportunity for the young guys to make a mark at the highest level in hostile conditions.

On the other hand, it has been almost 1 year since New Zealand played their last ODI match. New Zealand is yet to register a point in the table of the world cup super league. However, they have a 6 match winning streak in their country.

Both Bangladesh and New Zealand will play without the service of their key players. Leading into the 2023 cricket world cup, both teams will be eyeing to make a settled side.

50 over is the format that Bangladesh plays better compared to the Test and T20Is. That is Bangladesh cricket team will be desperate to register their maiden win on New Zealand soil. Shakib Al Hasan will miss the series due to his paternity duty.

While New Zealand looked almost invincible in their familiar conditions in the past few years. Kane Williamson will not feature in the series, Tom Latham will replace him as the captain. While veteran Ross Taylor will be unavailable due to the injury.
